Please help us provide dog food to local food pantries. Dog food pantries are crucial for vulnerable populations like low-income families, seniors, veterans, and the homeless. Many prioritize feeding their pets, and pantries help them allocate limited resources elsewhere. This support prevents heartbreaking choices, such as surrendering beloved pets to shelters or abandoning them. By keeping pets with their owners, these pantries also strengthen the human-animal bond, offering comfort and stability during challenging times. Pets are integral family members, deserving of care and security.

2025 Community Partners
PVKC started the dog food pantry program in 2010. PVKC donates 150 pounds of dog food monthly to PVKC Community Partners. PVKC hosts the June Maine Chickadee Classic in Cumberland.
